Why should I pay my alumnae dues?

Your dues ensure that the BRAA not only exists, but can continue Kappa's mission to provide leadership and growth opportunities for all its members. The BRAA is solely financially supported by the dues payments of Kappas like you!  

What do I get for paying my dues?

Besides knowing that you're supporting Kappa's mission for future generations here in Baton Rouge, members in good standing receive the following:

Eligibility to serve as a GPAA Officer or Chairman

Eligibility to serve on an Advisory or House Board*

FUN EVENTS throughout the year

Where does Dues Money Go?

Per Capita Fees: The below chart illustrates how much of dues goes towards the Kappa Kappa Gamma Per Capita fee, and how much stays within the Alumnae Association.  Per Capita fees go to the Fraternity, which pays for technology, Fraternity staff and Headquarters needs, publishing and distribution of The Key Magazine, as well as Chapter and Alumnae Association Support.

Association Operating Budget: The remaining funds go towards Alumnae Association event programming, mail distribution, chapter support, Panhellenic fees, Philanthropy donations, and operating expenses.
